šŸ³ļøā€šŸŒˆ Pride, Always

Every June, my feed fills with rainbows—and while I love a good rainbow, Pride is more than a marketing moment. It’s a reminder.

That everyone deserves to be seen.

That love isn’t one-size-fits-all.

And that your story—exactly as it is—is worth photographing.

At Sky Photography, this isn’t just a once-a-year thing.

I celebrate queer love, queer joy, and queer families all year long—with care, safety, and zero judgment.

Whether you’re planning your wedding, taking engagement photos, celebrating your partner, or just want photos that reflect who you really are, you’re welcome here. No explaining. No code-switching. Just real, easy connection.

A Black couple stands close together in front of a colorful mural. One person faces the camera confidently while the other gently holds their back, partially out of frame.
Bold love deserves bold color. Your joy belongs in front of the lens.

It’s not lost on me that for some folks, booking a photographer still means wondering, Will we be safe? Will we be respected?

That’s why I make it clear:

You are always safe here.

Your identity, your story, your love—it’s not ā€œdifferent.ā€ It’s just yours. And I’m honored to be the one who gets to help you capture it.

A queer couple stands in a grassy field at sunset, holding hands and smiling. Both are wearing flip flops, surrounded by tall grass and trees in the background.
Soft light, soft smiles, and space to just be.

Pride isn’t performative when it’s personal.

As a photographer who believes in access, visibility, and community, this work means a lot more than just showing up with a camera. It means showing up for people.

A queer couple embraces in tall golden grass during sunset. One rests her head on the other’s shoulder while warm light glows around them.
There’s nothing more photogenic than feeling seen.

To my queer clients (past and future):I’m so damn glad you exist.

And I would be honored to photograph you.

Whether it’s your wedding, your chosen family, or your ā€œwe survived the chaos and still love each otherā€ moment—you’re welcome here.

You don’t have to ask if I photograph LGBTQ+ weddings. The answer is always yes.

With love, with pride, and with open arms—

Rachel Sky
