💛 Why I Offer Pay-What-You-Can Mini Sessions (and Why They Matter)

Let’s talk about something close to my heart: accessibility.


When I started Sky Photography, I knew I wanted my work to feel real, relaxed, and within reach—not just for people with a huge budget or a picture-perfect life, but for anyone who wants to freeze a moment that matters.


That’s where my pay-what-you-can mini sessions come in.


💡 So… what exactly is “pay what you can”?


It’s exactly what it sounds like. These are shorter sessions (about 20 minutes) where you pay what works for your budget—with a $50 minimum to help cover my time, editing, and gear use.


Whether that’s $50 or more, you’ll get a beautiful, professionally edited set of images—and a session experience that doesn’t cut corners, just cost.

🛠️ Why I created them


Photography has always been something that felt out of reach for a lot of people I grew up around. I wanted to change that.


I created these sessions for:

  • Families who want yearly portraits without stressing over price

  • Seniors who can’t afford the full session package

  • Couples who want to celebrate their love without spending their entire savings

  • And honestly… anyone who just wants good photos without guilt


Also? Every dollar from these sessions helps me maintain and upgrade my gear so I can keep offering affordable options. Win-win.

These minis are a limited-time offering and will only be available through July 31st. After that, I’ll be focusing on prepping for fall sessions and saving up for gear upgrades.
